Since declaring a commitment to the field of mental health at the age of eleven, Mikaleh McCoy (she/her) has gained clinical experience in a variety of environments and worked with clients ages four to 103 years old, as well as families. Each interaction has deepened her understanding of the transformative power of therapy, both for clients and for herself.
In practice, Mikaleh employs an integrative approach tailored to the unique needs of each client, firmly believing that clients are the experts in their own lives. This collaborative philosophy is grounded in foundational practices of trauma-informed care, parts work, polyvagal theory, and client-centered therapy. By creating a safe and supportive environment, Mikaleh aims to empower clients to navigate their healing processes and recognize the potential of human capability, helping them discover and access the answers within.
