Kathleen is an ANCC Board-Certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner with over 15 years of experience in inpatient, outpatient, and emergency psychiatry as both a registered nurse and nurse practitioner. She completed a Masters Degree in Experimental Psychiatry through Villanova University and worked extensively with bipolar disorder patients in medication treatment trials at the National Institute of Mental Health. She then completed her registered nursing degree through the University of Rochester and her nurse practitioner with St. John Fisher University.

Kathleen has experience with patients across the lifespan with varied diagnoses such as mood disorders, psychotic disorders, anxiety, PTSD and personality disorders. Utilizing both pharmacological and non-pharmacological approaches, she strives to create a safe, open environment, empowering clients through education and participation in treatment planning and decision making. Her preferred treatment modalities are cognitive behavioral therapy and dialectical behavioral therapy.
