Primary Therapist (Complex Care Clinic)

We are currently seeking candidates that are experienced and passionate about working with DD/ID adult population and making a difference in the lives of others through therapy.

At Gavia Lifecare Center, we are an OMH licensed outpatient mental healthcare center on the forefront of implementing integrated mental healthcare services independent of a large medical facility. We pride ourselves on providing high quality mental health counseling, medication management, and crisis services in an outpatient setting.

Responsibilities:

Primary therapists expected to carry a caseload of approximately 45 clients providing individual and/or family counseling. This is a 32-40 hour per week position.

Requirements:

• MS or MA in Social Work or Mental Health Counseling required
• LMHC (or limited permit eligible) or LMSW/LCSW
• 1-2 years working with the ID/DD adult population
• In depth understanding of ethical and theoretical considerations for counseling
• Ability to sit, stand, and fulfill other job-related physical duties
