Where Your Life
is the Center of Our Care

Ani Herold, MS

Adolescent Therapist
Brief info

Ani (they/them) has a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Rochester. They have experience with adolescents from their internships at Edison Technical School and Sodus Central School District. They also have experience with children from their time working as a preschool teacher at Inspire! Learning and Childcare.

Ani believes that therapy is a deeply collaborative experience and strives to include their clients in every step of the therapeutic process. Their approach is strength-based, emotionally-focused, neurodivergent-affirming, and trauma-informed, helping clients recognize and connect with their inner strengths. They also believe very strongly in diversity and inclusivity, practicing within a feminist and anti-racist framework.

In their free time, Ani enjoys spending time with their two cats, Sylvie and Midnight, baking, reading, playing games, and getting outside to enjoy the sun.
