Primary Therapist
Brief info
Ali is a Primary Therapist at Gavia Life Care Center, Licensed and Board Certified in Creative Arts Therapy. She utilizes the creative process as a tool in sessions to explore authentic emotions, process trauma and explore a deeper sense of self for those who struggle to do so in traditional talk therapy. She draws from her person-centered approach to meet clients where they are in their journeys and prioritizes their goals for treatment while adding structure and guidance. In doing so, she pulls from different therapeutic modalities such as CBT and DBT when she feels they best support client goals. She has worked with diverse populations of all ages including those living with anxiety, depression, PTSD and trauma history, chemical dependency and physical or developmental disabilities.
