Jordan Oot (she/her) is a Primary Therapist at Gavia LifeCare Center. Jordan graduated from St. Bonaventure University with a B.A. in Psychology (Go Bonas!) and is a graduate of St. John Fisher University where she received her Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling. Jordan utilizes strengths-based and person-centered approaches and believes therapy is about providing space for clients to grow and feel supported during their journey. Jordan’s focus is on young person's struggles in areas such as relationships, life transitions, identity, body image/confidence, anxiety and depression. Jordan often uses CBT and DBT in her therapy and molds her therapeutic approach to best help each client. Jordan is currently working towards becoming a certified Health and Nutrition Coach. Jordan’s goal is to incorporate her knowledge in health and nutrition into her work with clients.
