Emily is a primary therapist with Gavia LifeCare Center. She graduated with her MSW from SUNY Brockport and is pursuing licensure with the goal of achieving her Clinical License. She has experience providing therapy in private practice and emergency hospital settings with a variety of clientele across the age spectrum and with diverse backgrounds. Emily is passionate about individualized and person centered care and believes the utilization of cultural humility and client empowerment is the key to a successful therapeutic relationship. Her roles working with individuals with developmental disabilities in multiple settings inspired her to pursue a career in therapy and she has continued to embrace this passion at Gavia LifeCare Center.
