Maryellen is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with over a decade of experience in the field, having worked in various settings since 2011. She has developed a diverse skill set, specializing in areas such as substance abuse, domestic violence, and working with children and adolescents. In 2018, Maryellen expanded her expertise by becoming trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).

In addition to her clinical expertise, Maryellen brings valuable business acumen from successfully owning and managing a private therapy practice for seven years. With her well-rounded experience, she is excited to serve as the Director of Clinical Operations at Gavia, where she looks forward to making a meaningful impact in the field of mental health.
